Thai Chamber Of Commerce & Industry, formerly known as The All-Thai Traders Association, was established in 1974 by a few founders including
Mr. Pramual Kulmart, former Deputy House Speaker, Mr. Suchart Boribunthanawat, Mr. Vichien Vetsongserm, Mr. Chatchaval Chompoodaeng, Mr. PisanuKiet BoonyaKiet. Registered as an association on March 12, 1975, the Association named Mr. Suchart Boribunthanawat as the first President. The Association location was changed several times and eventually is at

Objectives of the Association include to promote trade and business activities, build and strengthen relationship with other trade associations across the world, exchange useful information among associations, produce businessmen and traders, improve social welfare for them so that the society may meet with happiness, growth and prosperity as well as to create positive image for the Association.
Each president of the Association has made great contributions for the growth and reputation of the Association, especially Mr. Kiet Techaubol, who had created relationship with many other associations and state organizations in the People’s Republic of China, particularly the Association of Beijing Trade and Industries.
Mr. Kiet Techaubol had managed to recruit capable persons from young to old age to be members of the Association. The Association had made donations in cash or consumable goods to victims of natural disasters in both Thailand and China. That led to better unity among Association members. Delegates from the Association made several visits to China. At each visit, the delegates were honorably received by the Chinese authorities.
Today, Khun Sadawut Taechaubol has been elected as the 17th President.
One of the most successful businessmen in Thailand, Khun Sadawut is the Chairman of the Country Group, which features a few business arms – securities business, property business in both Thailand and other countries, mutual fund management. He also owns the leading Chinese-language newspaper, Sing Sian Yit Pao and has invested in a few projects in China, i.e. Thai Industrial Estate in Zhao Zuang, Shandong Province, construction of a world-class business center in Zhao Zuang and is developing some 36 rai space in Yan Nawa from Charoen Krung Road to the Chao Phraya River into 5- and 6-star hotels. In addition to continuing the former president’s policy, Khun Sadawut has further developed the Association – offering a change for capable businessmen to become Association members to help manage the Association, hearing suggestions and opinions from members for the betterment of the Association.
Today, the Association is growing much faster than the past and is honored to receive guests from state organizations and associations in China to exchange ideas and knowledge and to have better relationship with other organizations for maximal economic growth and development in Thailand and China as well as to lead the Association and its members to better growth, success and prosperity.
